Dear Guests,
Princess Cruises’ restart of cruising from the U.S. and UK has been successful, with guests, crew looking forward to setting sail again, and more ships returning to service in the coming weeks.
As always, Princess Cruises' top priority is the health and wellbeing of guests and crew and the people of the destinations we visit.
In an abundance of caution and in response to the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 caused by the Delta variant, Princess Cruises is updating vaccination and testing protocols and requirements.
Therefore, please carefully review the information below for sailings up to and including 31.10.2021:
Testing & Vaccination policy for all cruises with Princess Cruises
• Only fully vaccinated guests will be allowed on the cruise. Fully vaccinated guests are persons who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and have proof of vaccination, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Please note: Cross-vaccinations are unfortunately not accepted (e.g. 1st vaccination with Astra Zeneca, 2nd vaccination with Biontech).
• Unfortunately, people who have recovered from Covid are not accepted on board, vaccination is mandatory.
• From 12.09.2021, Princess Cruises will also require ALL fully vaccinated guests to have a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen), no more than 2 days old, prior to embarkation. This applies to all Princess Cruises departures.
• Fully vaccinated guests must present this negative COVID-19 test along with proof of full vaccination upon arrival at the terminal and may then board the ship.
• Please note that for US departures, testing in the terminal is currently not possible (however, a solution with mobile testing stations is currently being worked on). For UK departures, a free PCR or antigen test is available in the terminal prior to embarkation.
• Princess Cruises is unable to allow guests to board without proof of a negative test.
Mask policy
In addition to testing requirements, Princess Cruises is also making adjustments to the on board mask policy valid for cruises from 08.08.2021, through and including 31.10.2021 (or 05.11.2021 for sailings from/to Southampton), as follows:
• Princess Cruises strongly recommends that all guests wear face masks in indoor public areas.
• All guests must wear face masks in the lifts and designated indoor public areas, all shops and the casino, except when eating and drinking.
• In the main restaurants and buffet restaurant area, and occasionally in other areas where a large number of guests are present, passengers must wear face masks before taking their seats.
• As a reminder, face masks are mandatory during embarkation and disembarkation at the terminal and should also be worn during the debarkation process on board.
• Masks may also be mandatory during shore excursions. Here, the individual countries in which the shore excursion takes place decide. Passengers will be informed of this in advance on board.
All affected guests or their travel agencies will be contacted individually with all information and details regarding cancellation and rebooking.
We ask for your kind understanding that, in these exceptional circumstances, it will take us longer than normal to respond to your inquiries.

The world is still suffering from the corona pandemic. Australia just announced that also for 2021 foreign tourists will most likely not be allowed to entry the country. Due to this situation we, the Inter-Connect GmbH, have decided to suspend all booking options for this destination until the end of December 2021. We appologize for the inconvenience. However, already existing bookings will remain valid. Should there be any changes regarding the political course of the Australian government, we will be happy to re-open the destination for sale.

Dear Guests,
In response to the Australian Government´s approach to managing the resumption of cruising in Australian region, Princess Cruises has extended the temporary pause of our operations in Australia to mid-September 2020. Australia and New Zealand have so far excelled in flattening the COVID-19 curve and governments in both countries have outlined a multi-phased approach to reopening society including how we travel and vacation. Princess Cruises will continue to support the government’s efforts to protect the community’s health and wellbeing. The following voyages will be cancelled:

Notice on the temporary pause of global operations of Princess Cruises
Dear Guests,
In proactive response to the unpredictable circumstances evolving from the global spread of COVID-19, Princess Cruises announced that it will voluntarily pause global operations of its 18 cruise ships for two months (60 days), covering voyages departing March 12 to May 10.
Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises, said: "Princess Cruises is a global holiday company that serves more than 50,000 guests daily from 70 countries as part of our diverse business, and it is widely known that we have been managing the implications of COVID-19 on two continents. By taking this bold action of voluntarily pausing the operations of our ships, it is our intention to reassure our loyal guests, team members and global stakeholders of our commitment to the health, safety and well-being of all who sail with us, as well as those who do business with us, and the countries and communities we visit around the world."
Those currently onboard a cruise that will end in the next five days will continue to sail as expected through to the end of the itinerary so that onward travel arrangements are not disrupted. Current voyages that are under way and extend beyond March 17 will be ended at the most convenient location for guests, factoring in operational requirements. Princess will do everything possible to return each guest home with the greatest amount of care possible. During this time, our operations and medical teams across the fleet will remain vigilant in their care and service for guests and crew onboard.
In a video posted on YouTube, Jan Swartz shares that “while this is a difficult business decision, we firmly believe it is the right one and is in alignment with our company’s core values. Rest assured the long-serving and dedicated professionals at our company will make best use of this time to prepare Princess Cruises’ fleet of cruise ships for a successful return to operation to serve our guests by delivering an exceptional holiday experience.”
Princess Cruises plans to be back in operation beginning with cruises departing May 11, 2020.
We will contact all guests booked on affected voyages.
Thank you for your loyalty and support!
