Known as the "Mother City," Cape Town is nestled in a beautiful bay beneath Table Mountain. Lying along the peninsula of the Cape of Good Hope, it's one of the oldest European settlements in South Africa; originally founded in 1652 by the Dutch East India Company. Today, it is home to South Africa's parliament and the majority of its industries.
