The park's iconic Brooks Falls is perhaps the most famous bear viewing location within Katmai. This spot is renowned for the annual salmon run, during which brown bears congregate to feast on the migrating fish. Elevated platforms provide a safe vantage point to watch bears as they fish, play, and interact with each other. Park rangers are on hand to educate visitors about bear behavior, ecology, and the importance of preserving these animals and their habitat. A buffet style lunch will be provided as well as an exclusive souvenir designed specifically for Princess Cruises guests. Fly back to Anchorage for another night.
